Activities & Restaurants

Restaurants: There are many fine restaurants and Pubs in Padstow, here are a few that I would reccommend and my Guests have enjoyed.

The Basement Bistro - 01841 532846 - which is just opposite Strand House, very reasonably priced with a fine choice of menus. Sit outside under the red umbrellas and enjoy the sights and sounds of the quayside.

None of my guests have ever complained after dining at the following two restaurants! No 6. www.number6inpadstow.co.uk Margot's Bistro: 01841 533441 Book in advance for these restaurants! For something completely different try Padstow Jacks: www.padstowjacks.co.uk The Golden Lion comes highly recommended, especially for Sunday lunch! A small traditional pub with a friendly landlord and landlady.

Needless to say, Rick Stein's restaurants come highly recommended, and they are all within easy walking distance of Strand House.

Sailing If you would like to go sailing please ask me. I am an RYA Instructor and own a Drascombe Lugger and would be delighted to take you out.
