Terms and Conditions

  • The minimum stay is usually two nights but sometimes we can accommodate single night bookings.
  • For bank holiday weekends the minimum stay is three nights.
  • A non-refundable deposit equivalent to the cost of one night’s accommodation will be taken by credit or debit card at the time of reservation.
  • In the event of cancellation, early departure or non-arrival guests are liable for 90% of the cost of the period they have booked. Once notice of cancellation is received, this liability will be charged to the card which was used to pay the booking deposit.
  • We will always make every attempt to re-let your rooms when we receive cancellations. If we are able to re-let your room we will refund your cancellation charge.
  • It is strongly suggested that guests invest in cancellation insurance. This is inexpensive and offers peace of mind in the event that your holiday needs to be cancelled.
  • Pets are welcome in Strand House.
  • Strand House is a non-smoking establishment
  • Any extras requested for the rooms (wine, chocolates, flowers etc.) are charged to guests at the retail price of the suppliers.
  • We accept all major credit cards except American Express.
